Terms of Use
1. What AfterBell Kids is
AfterBell Kids is a private, founder-run program discovery service based in British Columbia, Canada. It helps families find after-school care, camps, and school-break programs by collecting and organizing factual information from provider websites and other public sources.
AfterBell Kids is an information service, not a booking platform. We do not run providers' operations, hold spots, complete registrations, or accept provider registration payments on a provider's behalf.
AfterBell Kids is currently operated as a private project. It is not yet presented as an incorporated business or registered nonprofit. If that changes, these terms will be updated.
2. How listing information is handled
AfterBell Kids is meant to store factual listing details such as provider names, locations, ages, dates, times, prices, capacities, and registration links.
We do not aim to republish long-form marketing copy, biographies, promotional claims, or other expressive provider content as part of the standard catalog.
We also do not intentionally publish unnecessary private personal information about staff, instructors, or other named individuals. The public directory is intended to stay focused on organization-level and program-level facts.
3. Accuracy, freshness, and provider responsibility
We aim for clarity and current sourcing, but families should still treat provider confirmation as essential.
- Program details can change without notice.
- AfterBell Kids does not guarantee that every listing is complete, current, or accurate at the moment you view it.
- Registration, availability, schedules, policies, and final pricing remain the provider's responsibility.
- Always confirm important details directly with the provider before relying on them.
4. Corrections and removal requests
Providers and affected parties may request factual corrections, temporary suppression, or removal review by contacting
5. Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for your credentials and all activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to create an account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use AfterBell Kids for any unlawful purpose.
- Scrape or systematically extract data without written permission.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
7. Third-party links
AfterBell Kids links to provider websites for registration and verification. We are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, or privacy practices.
8. Intellectual property and source materials
The AfterBell Kids name, branding, and original site content belong to AfterBell Kids and its founders. Program information sourced from providers remains the property of the respective providers.
Our intent is to reference factual public information for discovery and comparison, not to reproduce a provider's branded materials as a substitute for the provider's own site.
9. Paid features and billing
AfterBell Kids may offer optional paid features, subscriptions, or freemium upgrades in the future. Unless a checkout flow explicitly says otherwise, the public directory and core discovery experience may remain available without payment.
If you purchase a paid feature, billing is handled by the payment processor shown at checkout. Pricing, renewal timing, and cancellation terms will be shown before you complete payment.
Unless required by law, fees already charged are non-refundable once a paid period has started. You can cancel future renewals at the end of the current billing period.
10. Disclaimer
AfterBell Kids is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or perfect listing accuracy.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AfterBell Kids and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or your reliance on listing information.
12. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
